It is said that the Chicago Bears had the idea that they had struck gold last season as they signed Jay Culter and Orlando Pace, the Pro Bowl offensive tackle. Pace was expected to be a stop gap to prevent that the team was not able to get Chris Williams groomed in time. However, the entire thing proved to be a disaster because Pace failed to make it all over his season in the team. Pace made all of us felt depressed as he had been given too many expectations.
What is worse was that Chris Williams was not allowed for the second year. This year would be the third year for him not to be allowed to play on the field. But Williams did very well at the left tackle after Pace went out. All over the entire season, Williams has been playing that position in Bears jersey. Luckily for the Bears, it is possible for Williams to keep healthy and perform well. As for the right tackle, the team also found the right player for that position. In fact, the offensive line of the Bears has been a little better than what they had done in the past years. But they have to make it better in the coming season.
