Payton-beast in NFL

The last Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton was nicknamed as Sweetness by people. However, it was said that Payton was a beast in the games between the Bears and the Packers, during which game he played as one quarterback, which was the only time for him to play as quarterback in his football career. He played excellent as he had done as one running back on the field. However, some people held the idea that he was one single wing quarterback from hell for some reasons I could not understand.

As his fan, I do believe him to be the best running back in the history of NLF all the time although I don’t have the idea on his performance as one quarterback. As one running back in the Bears, he led the team to win the Super Bowl. But in the following years, the Bears have never won the honor again. That seems to be one reason for his greatness. In Payton jersey, he set many records at his days although they have been broken by players nowadays. However, the reason for his being called a beast is possible because of his tough playing style.
